About Sweet Cecily

Sweet Cecily opened in 1987, in the picturesque college town of Middlebury,Vermont. We are one of  THE destinations in our area for returning visitors.  The eclectic mix of folk art and contemporary objects for the home and garden, makes it wonderfully fun to spend time and shop. 

Sweet Cecily is housed in a former ice cream parlor, Calvis, with its high tin 
ceiling and the most astonishing screened in back porch that overlooks Otter Creek 
Falls-its a priceless view! In almost 2 decades of business, the shop has become a favorite of locals and tourists alike-testimonials like "I could spend hours in here-its fabulous!" and "Its my favorite store", and I"m a shopper!" are not uncommon.

Among our favorite items for sale you will find Kennebunk Blankets: Throw sized blankets -the softest you'll ever feel-in colors ranging from Peacock Blue to Bright Red-great for Graduation (and dorm rooms), Weddings and Birthdays. One of most popular items in over 2 dozen colors!
